Die Plattform verinice.veo entwickelt sich in schnellen Schritten weiter: Das verinice-Team hat nach der Einführung von IT-Grundschutz und NIS2 im Dezember nun u.a. optimierte Verknüpfungsanzeigen, verbesserte Risiko-Berechnungen und viele Detailverbesserungen realisiert. Nach dem Release ist vor dem Release: Pünktlich zur verinice.XP kommen u.a. Prototypen für die Domänen ISO 27001, BCM und TISAX. Ab März 2025 soll dann auch eine On-Premise-Option verfügbar sein.

Zudem erfordert der verinice.PRO-Server nun JDK 17 – Administrierende sollten die neuen Konfigurationsanforderungen beachten. Die Version steht ab sofort im verinice.SHOP oder im Kundenrepository zum Download bereit.

Das vom BSI bereitgestellte Profil wurde speziell für die Anwendung in unserem ISMS-Tool aufbereitet und erleichtert die Einführung eines Informationssicherheitsmanagementsystems (ISMS). Dank der vorkonfigurierten Zielobjekte und Schutzbedarfsfeststellung können Sie das Profil direkt in Ihre Modellierung übernehmen – für eine effiziente Analyse und Audit-Vorbereitung.

*The new verinice generation: features added*

The verinice.veo platform is developing in rapid steps: After the introduction of IT-Grundschutz and NIS2 in December, the verinice team has now implemented optimized link displays, improved risk calculations and many other improvements. Release follows release: Prototypes for the ISO 27001, BCM and TISAX domains are coming just in time for verinice.XP. An on-premise option is also planned from March 2025.

With the verinice2BI Connector you can visualize your ISMS and DSMS data in real time! The new interface connects the verinice.veo platform with leading business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Metabase. Create individual dashboards, keep an eye on risks and compliance status, and make data-based decisions. The connector is available as a subscription and supports both cloud and on-premise installations (starting in March 2025).

With verinice.edu, the new verinice generation brings information security and data protection directly into the lecture hall! Universities and colleges can use the web-based platform free of charge in the context of courses – including the domains of IT-Grundschutz, data protection management and NIS2. The open-source solution not only enables practical teaching and the possibility of integrating further standards into project work, but also offers full access to the source code.

The version 1.28 for the single-user version and verinice.PRO is here! The release brings performance optimizations, faster processing and VDA ISA 6 as standard. In addition, the verinice.PRO server now requires JDK 17 – administrators should note the new configuration requirements. The version is now available for download from the verinice.SHOP or the customer repository.

*New IT-Grundschutz profile: Security for federal motorways*

The IT-Grundschutz profile for traffic control and guidance systems on federal motorways is now available for verinice single user version and verinice.PRO! The profile provided by the BSI has been specially prepared for use in our ISMS tool and facilitates the introduction of an information security management system (ISMS). Thanks to the preconfigured target objects and protection requirements assessment, you can adopt the profile directly into your modeling – for efficient analysis and audit preparation.
